What Grabbit stores, and why. This will be expanded before general availability.
When you create an account we store your name, email, and (once you onboard) your business name, phone, delivery zones, and pickup details. We store the products you create and the orders placed on them.
At checkout we store the phone number you enter, the delivery area you choose, and the order itself, so the seller can fulfil it and you can check its status. We don’t ask buyers to create an account.
M‑Pesa payments are handled by Safaricom. Grabbit receives a confirmation (an M‑Pesa receipt number). It never sees your M‑Pesa PIN and does not store card details.
Product photos are stored with our image host (Cloudinary) and served from its CDN.
Order details are shared between the buyer and the seller of that order and no one else. We don’t sell data. We keep order records while your account is active so both sides have a history.
